Doc, one of only two World War II B-29 bombers still flying, will be based at the Museum May 19-22 for rides and tours. This will be the first time the Wichita-based Superfortress has been to The Museum of Flight. The visit is part of the “B-29 Doc History Restored Tour.” Ground and cockpit tours will be available May 19-20 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on May 21- 22, from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Rides in the plane will be during the mornings of May 21-22.
