Real Art Design Group Wins ADDY Awards

March 5, 2011 – 9:28 amNo Comment

From a car mural made out of pennies and a giant remote-controlled claw game to a children’s hospital annual report and three fabulous websites, Real Art Design Group proved the diversity of their talented team at the 2011 Dayton regional ADDY awards celebration.

“Most of our work still focuses on print and multimedia design, but we also like to take things a step further,’ said Chris Wire, owner of Real Art Design Group. “With The Santa Claw, we learned a lot and had a few sleepless nights, but it was worth it; the site had more than 300,000 visits from all over the world.’

The first of a three-tier, national competition conducted by the American Advertising Federation, the 2011 Hermes Awards took place Saturday, February 26, at the Dayton Masonic Center and gave members of the Greater Dayton Advertising Association an opportunity to celebrate some of the best and most creative work to come out of the Dayton region.

And by the end of the ceremony, Real Art had a lot to be proud of, walking away with 6 gold awards, 12 silver awards, 17 bronze awards, 2 judges awards and the “best of show” award. The top prizes were awarded to the following projects:

Motozuma Penny Wall (for http://www.motozuma.com)—Gold Addy and Best of Show

The Santa Claw (www.thesantaclaw.com)—Gold Addy and Judge’s Award

Cincinnati Children’s 2010 Annual Report—Gold Addy and Judge’s Award

Real Mart website (www.shoprealmart.com)—Gold Addy

Chrysler 300 microsite (www.chrysler.com/en/2010/300/experience/)—Gold Addy

Ford Interceptor website (www.ford.com/fordpoliceinterceptor)—Gold Addy

“We’re definitely honored,’ said Wire. “There was a lot of great work and tough competition at the Hermes this year.’
