NESCA Launches Informative New Blog: NESCA News & Notes

Published February 3rd, 2010

NESCA, a respected private pediatric neuropsychology group practice in Newton, Massachusetts, has begun publishing an informative new blog called NESCA News & Notes (http://www.nesca-news.blogspot.com). Updated daily, in addition to announcements of upcoming special events, it contains objective information of interest not only to the group’s clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care, but also to anyone interested in science and public policy as they relate to healthy child development.

NESCA Founder/Director Ann Helmus, Ph.D. said, “NESCA has always been a practice that listens to its clients, and we wanted to expand and enrich our dialog with them. We felt that our families deserved, and that we were obliged to provide, carefully-screened material they could use to make better-informed choices about diagnostic and treatment options for their children, and about parenting in general. We also wanted to be able quickly to share with them any breaking scientific news of concern to us that could influence our clinical thinking.”

Readers may easily subscribe to NESCA News & Notes by RSS and Atom feeds, or by email. Comments on individual posts are encouraged. For additional information about NESCA, please visit our website: www.nesca-newton.com.
